Are you ready for this?
Picture the scene? It`s Monday morning and you are preparing to go to work…hot shower, hot drink, hop in the car and off you go. Your mind turns to the forthcoming events of the day as you journey in, you rehearse conversations and plans as you play a mini movie in your mind of the day’s events. When you park the car you receive a text message from your boss…
As the boss stands to address the hushed crowd she announces the following;
“A fatal accident occurred in our workplace at the weekend and the Health and Safety Executive have informed me that we will all be interviewed over the next 3 days. If gross negligence is identified there could be a manslaughter conviction. You are required to provide the following: risk assessments, safety policy, safety training records, inspections, tours, surveys, safety alerts, accident records, safety interventions and consultations. Before you leave the room, please leave all mobile phones, tablets and electronic devices and provide all log ins and passwords”.
Are you ready for this degree of scrutiny? Find out by joining us on one of our Safety for Senior Executives courses.

The aim of the CCNSG Safety Passport Scheme is to ensure a basic knowledge of health and safety for all site personnel to enable them, after appropriate site induction, to work on site more safely with lower risk to themselves and others. National Course is a two day course for basic site safety and is valid for three years from the date of the course. The Renewal Course is designed as a one day refresher course for those who have already passed the CCNSG National Course. This has to be taken within three months of the Safety passport expiry date. If it is not taken within the specified time then the two day CCNSG National Course will have to be retaken.
