This course provides a comprehensive account of the history, health conditions and modern management techniques to control asbestos. It is designed to ensure that your people are aware of how to identify asbestos as required under the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2012.
Why you should attend this course
Asbestos can be found in any building built before the year 2000 (houses, factories, offices, schools, hospitals etc) and causes around 5000 deaths every year. Every employer must make sure that anyone who is liable to disturb asbestos during their normal work, or who supervises those employees, gets the correct level of information, instruction and training so that they can work safely and competently without risk to themselves or others.
